Description
Are you a hands-on Digital Analyst who knows your way around GA4 and Google Tag Manager and enjoys turning data into action?
Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is looking for a Digital Analyst to own the day-to-day delivery of digital analytics for Fundraising. You’ll make sure we’re measuring the right things, understand how our digital activity is performing and help teams turn insight into better decisions.
You’ll be comfortable getting into the technical detail of tracking and data, while also working with senior stakeholders to explain what you’re seeing, influence decisions and recommend what we should do next.
Salary
The salary for this role is £42,770 per annum and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day digital analytics for Fundraising across campaigns, websites and supporter journeys.
- Maintain and improve our GA4 and Google Tag Manager implementation, ensuring tracking is accurate and useful and lawful.
- Work with Fundraising and Marketing teams to measure campaigns, understand performance and identify opportunities to optimise.
- Analyse digital supporter behaviour to understand what drives engagement, conversion and retention.
- Build clear dashboards and reporting that help colleagues make informed decisions.
- Present insight and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, using evidence to influence and challenge where needed.
- Plan and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests to improve digital performance.
- Work with developers, agencies, Technology and Data colleagues to implement tracking and connect digital insight with wider supporter data.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
