Pulse is partnering with one of the UK's largest consumer digital platforms, a business attracting hundreds of millions of monthly visitors and investing heavily in building a best-in-class data capability.
As the business evolves its customer strategy, the quality of its behavioural data has never been more important. This role sits right at the centre of that transformation, owning the foundations that enable every downstream insight, experiment and product decision.
You'll become the technical owner of digital analytics implementation, ensuring every feature launches with reliable tracking, every event is captured correctly and the wider business can trust the data it's using.

What you'll be doing:
- Defining tracking requirements for new digital features before they go live
- Building and implementing tracking through Google Tag Manager, JavaScript and the data layer
- Owning QA, debugging and validating tracking across multiple analytics platforms
- Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to ensure analytics is embedded into every release
- Creating scalable documentation, naming conventions and implementation standards
- Investigating data quality issues and solving complex tracking challenges before they impact reporting
What they're looking for:
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager, GA4, JavaScript and event tracking
- Experience implementing digital analytics tracking end-to-end
- Strong debugging skills, with the ability to trace issues from browser through to reporting
- Experience working alongside software engineering teams in agile environments
- Someone passionate about data quality, governance and building scalable implementation processes
- BigQuery, SQL or enterprise analytics platform experience would be advantageous
