Position: Digital Analytics Lead
Location: Bristol
Work Mode: Flexible hybrid working

About the Role

The Digital Analytics Lead will lead a Digital Analytics team, using data and insight to improve client experiences, digital journeys and commercial outcomes.
You will own the digital measurement strategy and work closely with Product, Digital, Marketing, Engineering and Journey teams to deliver actionable analytics, dashboards, data products and advanced analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop the Digital Analytics team.
  • Own the digital measurement strategy, including event design, tagging frameworks, data quality and governance.
  • Ensure consistent analytics coverage across web, app and wider client touchpoints.
  • Develop dashboards and self-service analytics for business stakeholders.
  • Deliver advanced analysis across digital and non-digital data to identify behavioural trends and commercial opportunities.
  • Support experimentation, optimisation and personalisation initiatives.
  • Work with Product, Digital, Marketing and Engineering teams to embed analytics into delivery and roadmap planning.
  • Own analytics implementation across platforms such as Snowflake, Amplitude Analytics and Qualtrics.
  • Develop data products in partnership with Data Engineering.
  • Integrate qualitative and behavioural data such as surveys, feedback and session replay.
  • Ensure analytics practices comply with privacy, security, architecture and regulatory standards.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience leading a Digital Analytics / Digital Data team.
  • Strong hands-on and strategic experience in Digital Analytics.
  • Advanced SQL and Python skills.
  • Experience with digital analytics platforms such as Amplitude Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of web/app analytics, event-based measurement, tracking plans, data layers and tagging strategies.
  • Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms; Databricks experience is desirable.
  • Strong commercial analysis and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) experience.
  • Experience developing dashboards, data products and self-service analytics.
  • Strong stakeholder management across Product, Digital, Marketing and Engineering.
  • Excellent data storytelling and ability to translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with data management/governance tools such as Informatica, Collibra or Precisely is desirable.
  • Understanding of data quality, consent and privacy-by-design principles.
  • Experience in Financial Services or another regulated environment is advantageous.
