Job

To support the management of Porsche Retail Group's digital footprint and social media community by working with the Digital and Social Media Executive to create digital and social media content.

This is a Placement Year position for a candidate currently studying an Undergraduate degree at university, seeking a placement for their third year. The role will commence in August 2027 for the duration of 12 months. Please ensure that you can meet this criterion and have read and understood the requirements of the role before applying.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the Group Digital and Social Media Manager to develop and implement digital and social media strategies with the aim of increasing Group, Centre, product and brand awareness and customer engagement
  • Working with the Digital and Social Media Manager, DMS and CSM at each Centre to create original, exciting and engaging social media content across all platforms and channels, including taking part in Centre photoshoots
  • Attendance and involvement in regular Marketing Meeting's, helping to plan Centre and group wide events in line with PSG expectations
  • Continuous updating and monitoring of Centre and group websites in a timely and accurate manner. Activities include but not limited to: event and news article publication, team member additions, opening hour corrections and imagery updates
  • Staying up to date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies and discussing these with the Group Digital and Social Media Manager and Head of Marketing during regular updates
  • Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments, direct messages, social media posts and Centre reviews in a timely and accurate manner
  • Tracking, reporting, and analysing website analytics, social media growth/engagement stats, marketing campaigns and new/used car enquiries, to enable robust measures of ROI

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undertaking a Business or Marketing related degree
  • Excellent skill levels across MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and Image/Videography packages, with a keen eye for photography and videography
  • Knowledge and up-to-date understanding of the latest trends and best practices in digital and social media marketing
  • Proficient grammar and writing skills and ability to create exciting content for marketing communications
  • An understanding of how each social media channel differs with content and its community and to be able to optimise content accordingly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pro-active and ‘can do' attitude, looking to actively identify opportunities and challenges and propose ideas and potential solutions
  • Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks and projects at the same time
  • Ability to work alone productively and with initiative, but also work closely with various colleagues across the business when required
  • Marketing and communications savvy with a willingness to learn and develop in this evolving environment
  • Comfortable with data and analysis and preparing of reports and summaries
