Digital and Social Media Manager (B2B and B2C) – 12 month FTC
We are working with a fast-growing boutique communications consultancy, looking to strengthen their digital team currently.
They partner with companies and brands across a range of sectors including financial services and fintech – and they are looking for a Digital and Social Media Manager to join the team on a FTC – initially for 12 month with a view to hopefully extending this into a permanent role.
The agency advises a variety of organisations – from start-ups to global businesses – on communications strategies, PR and engagement plans – and protecting their reputations through crisis management. Their work spans broader marketing, including paid digital marketing, social media and visual content creation.
Clients are generally purpose-led technology focused businesses – in areas including fintech and innovation.
The role:
Reporting into the Digital Director, this Digital and Social Media Manager will lead the planning, creation and delivery of high-impact social and digital campaigns across a mix of primarily corporate and B2B, with some B2C clients.
This is a hands-on role combining strategy, content creation and design. You’ll help create both written and visual content across digital, social, media and client materials. This is not a specialist design role, they are looking for experience when it comes to crafting polished assets, and working with third party suppliers for more complex creative work where needed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
