About Unilever and the M&A Integration Team

Unilever is one of the world's leading consumer goods companies, with products used by 3.4 billion people every day across more than 190 countries. Our portfolio includes iconic brands such as Dove, Hellmann's, Knorr, Rexona, OMO, Domestos and many more.

As we continue to evolve our portfolio, acquisitions and divestments remain a key lever for delivering our strategic ambitions. The Global M&A Integration team plays a critical role in ensuring that these transactions create value and deliver successful outcomes. We lead the planning and execution of operational integration and separation activities across all functions, helping businesses transition smoothly while protecting value and enabling growth.

We are a highly collaborative, international team that thrives on solving complex challenges. We work at the intersection of strategy and execution, partnering with senior leaders and experts from across the organisation to bring some of Unilever's most important business decisions to life.

Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a Digital & Technology M&A Integration Lead to drive the Digital & Technology agenda across Unilever's acquisitions, divestments and strategic portfolio transformation projects.

This is a unique opportunity to operate at the centre of Unilever's most significant transactions, combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You will lead the assessment, planning and execution of (Digital & Technology) integration and separation activities, working closely with business leaders, functional experts and external partners to deliver successful outcomes.

The role offers exceptional exposure across geographies, business groups and functions, providing the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, build deep expertise in M&A and transformation, and develop a broad international network.

Success in this role requires a strong blend of leadership, programme management, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capabilities. You will bring structure and clarity to complex situations while ensuring value creation remains at the heart of every transaction.

What you’ll be responsible for

Acquisitions and Integrations

You will lead Digital & Technology workstreams throughout the acquisition lifecycle, from due diligence through to full integration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing the target company's technology landscape, including applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, data management, organisation, vendors and operating costs.
  • Identifying integration opportunities, value creation initiatives and potential synergies.
  • Evaluating and mitigating risks, including cybersecurity, data privacy, contractual and operational risks.
  • Working with functional teams to define future-state operating models and integration strategies.
  • Developing integration plans, resource requirements and investment cases.
  • Supporting negotiations and implementation of Transitional Services Agreements where required.
  • Leading Digital & Technology planning during the first 100 days and beyond to ensure seamless integration delivery.
  • Establishing governance structures and mobilising resources to deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Driving alignment across business and technology teams to achieve Day 1 readiness and long-term value creation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Recruitment Fraud

Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.

How is Unilever tackling this?

Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.

What can I do?

If you become aware of potential recruitment fraud, spot fake Unilever recruitment adverts or fake LinkedIn profiles, report them via Una Live Chat.

Unilever does not accept responsibility or liability for any candidates who are financially impacted by recruitment fraud. Your vigilance is key!
