Are you an experienced apprenticeship practitioner with a background in Network Engineering or Digital who enjoys helping apprentices develop their skills and achieve their goals?
The Colleges’ Partnership (TCP) is looking for an Apprenticeship Coordinator to support apprentices throughout their programme, combining sector expertise with training, assessment, coaching and progress management. You’ll play an important role in keeping apprentices on track towards successful gateway while providing individual support and guidance.
Alongside apprenticeship delivery and assessment, you’ll support Functional Skills maths and/or English where required and contribute to the quality and compliance of TCP’s apprenticeship provision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing apprentice work, providing constructive feedback and monitoring progress towards programme completion and gateway.
- Delivering training and underpinning knowledge to support successful achievement of apprenticeship units.
- Conducting apprentice progress reviews in line with DfE and Company requirements.
- Delivering initial and diagnostic assessment and Functional Skills maths and/or English teaching as required.
- Mentoring and coaching apprentices, providing information, advice and guidance and identifying where additional support may be needed.
- Maintaining accurate and compliant apprenticeship documentation and reporting progress or potential suspensions to your Line Manager.
- Delivering and marking controlled assessments and coordinating or invigilating examinations as required.
- Contributing to standardisation, quality assurance, self-assessment and continuous improvement activities.

What you’ll bring:
- Sector competence in Network Engineering/Digital Apprenticeship Standards, such as Level 3 ICT.
- Experience assessing apprentices, planning and preparing lessons, delivering apprenticeship training and providing individual and differentiated support.
- An Assessor Coach Level 4 and/or Learning and Skills Teacher Level 5 qualification, or equivalent such as CET or CAVA, or willingness to work towards an appropriate qualification.
- Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent.
- The ability to train and assess in relevant vocational areas up to Level 4 and Functional Skills at Levels 1 and 2.
- Strong digital literacy, communication, organisation and time-management skills.
- An understanding of safeguarding and equality and diversity.
- A full driving licence, use of a car and willingness to travel and work away from home as required.

An NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification/experience in Network Engineering/Digital, ITQ Level 2 or equivalent, and safeguarding, equality and diversity and health and safety certificates are desirable rather than essential. Experience in a DfE, further education or work-based learning training environment is also desirable.

- Salary: £29,288 - £32,088
