Digital Assessment Communications Associate Manager
Salary: Circa £41,000 - £43,000 per annum depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: IB (International Baccalaureate®) Global Centre, Cardiff
Hybrid working opportunity, office presence required one day per week

About The Role
The Digital Assessment Communications Associate Manager provides strategic vision and organizational direction for all communications related to the initiative. This role is responsible for developing, governing, and executing the global communications strategy that ensures awareness, understanding, adoption, and long-term confidence in digital examinations across the worldwide IB community.
This role plays an integral role in ensuring the timely sharing of critical information related to the DPCPDAI. The postholder must be skillful at gathering and processing information quickly and making it understandable to global and diverse audiences. They will be at the forefront developing change and adoption communications, helping stakeholders (i.e. IB staff, the public, and IB World School) understand what, why, when, and how changes will affect them. They will work closely with the IB Communications team to ensure the DPCPDAI Communications Plan fits within the context of IB's overall communications strategy and plan. They will be critical in seamlessly transitioning the communication from early adoption into business-as-usual communications, and the role will evolve as such.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for requesting and reviewing proposals from vendors and consultants, managing contracts, and ensuring costs are within budget.
- This role is responsible for reporting forecasted costs related to their projects to the School Readiness and Support workstream lead.
- Leads recurring coordination and production forums; contributes to programme/workstream/advisory meetings; quarterly review to protect delivery time.
- Execute the SRS communications plan and calendar; govern briefs, reviews, approvals and accessibility in alignment with the IB brand.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement across internal groups and schools; maintain Programme Communities groups (Early Adopters / DAAG).
- Manage communications risks/issues; escalate programme risks as appropriate (programme-level risk ownership remains out of scope).
- Maintain owned web presence and social channels if appropriate; ensure regular updates and monitoring.
- Focus training responsibilities on communications-related needs; design materials and co-deliver engagement sessions.
- Run measurement and feedback loops of engagement channels and analyse incoming query themes to drive content improvements.
- Deliver briefings, webinars and conference presentations; co-facilitate usability trials and DAAG sessions as part of change communications.
- Produce and publish content across web, email, newsletters, briefings, modules, videos, graphics, slide decks and scripts.
- Maintain and adjust communications plans, schedules and content in response to data/feedback; consult/escalate beyond comms scope as required.
- Analyse campaign metrics and Salesforce query themes to identify content gaps; implement self-serve improvements.
- Manage vendors/partners for translation and production; hold to quality and timelines.
- Influence communications-related decisions within project teams; programme/tooling decisions remain with owning teams.
- Recommend communications tools/workflows where relevant; final selection/procurement sits with IT/Programme owners.
- Focus continuous improvement on communications processes and channels (not general operational process ownership).

Qualifications
About You
Essential
- Proven experience producing multi-format content (modules, video scripting/production, graphics, decks) and managing translation workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret campaign analytics and Salesforce query data to drive content improvements and reduce repeat inquiries.
- Event and training delivery experience (briefings, webinars, conference sessions).
- Proficiency with Mailing platform (Campaign Monitor), PRC, Programme Communities, Vimeo, Mentimeter, Monday.com/DevOps boards and SNOW submissions.
- Experience using SharePoint, Monday.com, Azure DevOps, Campaign Monitor, Camtasia, or similar tools zones

Desirable
- Multilingual skills would be desirable in English, French and Spanish for co-facilitation and translation coordination.
