Join us as a Business Analyst
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Private Banking & Wealth Management (PBWM) business's Digital Assets strategy, leveraging your Digital Assets knowledge.
Using your business analysis expertise you'll shape emerging capabilities, define complex requirements, and support the delivery of innovative, integrated solutions in a rapidly evolving environment. You'll have the opportunity to work at the forefront of Digital Assets, tokenised assets and AI-enabled delivery practices, helping to define future capabilities that deliver value for customers, colleagues and the business.
What you'll do
In your new role, you'll play a key part in shaping and supporting the delivery of the bank's Digital Assets strategy. You'll work across business and technology teams to understand customer and stakeholder needs, analyse complex challenges and define requirements that support the delivery of innovative solutions.
You'll also be responsible for:
- Producing high-quality business requirements to inform future-state design and support delivery teams in understanding requirements and their alignment to the broader domain strategy
- Capturing, validating and documenting business, functional, non-functional, process and data requirements, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and architectural principles
- Supporting the evolution of Digital Assets capabilities by analysing business needs, evaluating solution options and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Facilitating discovery activities and workshops with stakeholders across business, product, architecture and engineering teams, helping to bring clarity to emerging requirements and priorities
- Defining and documenting requirements for API-led integrations, platform connectivity and digital ecosystem solutions across internal and external technology platforms
- Working collaboratively with Architecture, Engineering and Product teams to understand technical capabilities, identify dependencies and support the delivery of scalable and resilient solutions
- Supporting the management and refinement of the Digital Assets backlog by analysing impacts, identifying dependencies and helping to prioritise business outcomes
- Analysing existing business processes and system functionality to identify opportunities for optimisation, simplification and improved customer outcomes
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and third-party suppliers across multiple franchises and functions
- Articulating ideas and requirements through user stories, use cases, process maps, user journeys and other suitable analysis artefacts
- Leveraging AI and Agentic AI tools where appropriate to enhance analysis, improve stakeholder engagement, accelerate decision-making and increase delivery efficiency
- Supporting teams in balancing innovation, customer outcomes, regulatory obligations, resilience and operational effectiveness within a regulated banking environment

The skills you'll need
We're looking for an experienced business analyst with proven experience delivering complex business and technology change initiatives along with experience operating effectively in evolving and ambiguous environment, bringing structure, clarity and focus to emerging business and technology challenges. In addition, you'll need knowledge of Digital Assets, tokenisation, digital custody, distributed ledger technologies, blockchain ecosystems or related financial technology domains.

You'll also need a growth mindset, intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning and applying emerging technologies to solve business problems, you'll enjoy working at the intersection of business strategy, technology innovation and Digital Assets with the ability to balance innovation, customer outcomes, risk, regulatory requirements and operational effectiveness within a highly regulated environment and be excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of PBWM through emerging technologies and AI-enabled ways of working.
You'll Also Need
- Experience defining requirements for API-led integration, service-oriented architectures and complex technology ecosystems spanning multiple platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and simplify complex business and technical challenges
- Experience collaborating with Architecture, Engineering, Product and Delivery teams to define and support technology solutions
- The ability to analyse end-to-end processes, identify dependencies and assess the impact of change across business and technology landscapes
- Experience applying a range of business analysis tools, techniques and methodologies
- Practical experience using AI and Agentic AI tools to support research, analysis, documentation, stakeholder engagement and delivery activities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable business requirements and strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across business and technology functions
