Job Purpose
The Digital Campaign Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising multi-channel digital marketing campaigns that generate awareness, website visits and deliver qualified sales leads and opportunities against agreed KPIs. The role involves the running of a large scale digital lead gen and product awareness programme, agency management, hands on marketing automation set up, email marketing and performance reporting to support business growth and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Campaign Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and sales targets.
- Plan, coordinate, and activate multi-channel campaigns across paid search, display advertising, social media, email marketing, and organic channels. This will include brand awareness and lead generation digital campaigns.
- Manage digital campaign budgets and optimise performance to maximise ROI and lead generation.
- Monitor and track campaign performance, report to internal stakeholders and make data-driven recommendations to improve results.
- Working closely with marketing and product teams, create conversion focused campaign landing pages and email marketing funnels

Agency Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for external digital marketing agencies for digital advertising activation, content and asset creation.
- Create detailed campaign briefs, define objectives, target audiences, and success metrics across Google Ads, display networks, LinkedIn, Meta and other relevant social media platforms.
- Lead bimonthly agency meetings to review budgets, performance, priorities, and campaign development.
Email Marketing & Marketing Automation
- Create and execute email marketing campaigns to support lead generation, nurturing, and customer engagement.
- Build, manage, and optimise HubSpot workflows, automation programmes, lead scoring, and customer journeys.
- Ensure marketing automation supports the progression of prospects through the sales funnel.
- Create and send 3 x quarterly email newsletters to increase awareness, nurture relationships and generate leads.
Requirements:
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in digital marketing campaign planning, activation, and optimisation.
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, YouTube Ads, display advertising, paid social media (Meta, LinkedIn) and email marketing.
- Experience managing budgets, external agencies and multiple stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot marketing automation and CRM platforms.
- Understanding of search marketing principles, keyword strategy, and content optimisation.
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
- Experience of creating conversion focused landing pages to achieve specified business objectives.
- Experience creating thought leadership and social media content, particularly for LinkedIn.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using reporting and analytics tools.
- Excellent project management, organisation, and communication skills.
- Results-driven with a focus on generating measurable sales opportunities and business growth.
- Ability to tell stories with data, create impactful weekly, monthly and post campaign reports.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Marketing Originated Opportunities, and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) generated.
- Campaign ROI and cost per lead.
- Digital advertising performance (CTR, CPC, conversion rate, lead volume).
- Email campaign engagement and conversion metrics.
- Website traffic growth from relevant target segments e.g. target accounts, specific job titles etc.
- Content engagement and LinkedIn thought leadership performance.
