Application Deadline: 27 September

Employment type: 1-year fixed-term contract, with a view to transition to permanent position.

WeMove Europe is a community of people united by a vision of a better Europe. We run campaigns that empower citizens to take action and influence decision-makers at the European level.

We're looking for a Digital Campaigner (Dutch speaking) able to think, do and deliver. Someone who loves being part of fast-paced digital campaigning for a better Europe on issues from the cost of living crisis to datacentres depleting our water, and can also think about the bigger strategic picture.

Most importantly the digital world: online campaigning and innovative digital tactics excite you, and you are keen to learn more in this field. Data analysis and data driven decision-making is not a frightening concept to you, on the contrary.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital, Creative, Comms

  • Identify European campaign opportunities and develop and lead on campaigns from planning phase, to execution, pulling out the creative digital tactics in between
  • Storytelling - Write strong, compelling copy in English which results in our members taking action on various issues, including for email and social media platforms
  • Tailor our emails, fundraisers and messages to the Dutch context
  • Manage the Dutch community and email communications with our Dutch members, including setting up and sending emails using our online campaigning tools (currently, ActionKit), and analysing data and user engagement
  • Stay up-to-date with digital campaigning and marketing trends and find innovative ways to apply them at WeMove Europe
  • Occasionally organise “offline” actions such as petition handovers, media stunts etc.

Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relations with partners in NGOs, movements and organisations that represent our membership in the Netherlands and EU-wide
  • Help us understand the political dynamics in the Netherlands by keeping connected to local movements, alternative thinking and researching policy processes within your national context as it connects to the EU level

Fundraising

  • Fundraise from individual donors in Netherlands
  • Support the fundraising team in executing our members focused fundraising strategy,
  • Tailor fundraising messages to our Dutch community

Other

  • Travel nationally and EU-wide for team meetings, retreats, stakeholder and partner meetings, and petition deliveries
  • The WeMove Europe team works in a culture of togetherness, passion for our issues and determination to win, so from time to time, the team will be expected to perform activities outside of their normal role.
  • Create engaging audiovisual content, including live or recorded on-camera appearances to connect with our audience directly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About us

WeMove Europe is an international campaigning organisation that seeks to build people power to transform Europe on issues that matter _ including climate emergencies, migrant rights, workers rights, better governance and more.

At the centre of what we do are two key beliefs: that people hold the power to drive change, and that the Europe we live in today needs real, deep-rooted transformation so that its politics reflect the needs of people and planet rather than corporations and profit.

When we all take action together we create something bigger than ourselves and build momentum for real political change. That is when politicians start listening to us, when big business feels the pressure, when hope becomes a reality. And when we become unstoppable!
