Global Finance is seeking a commercially minded and data-driven Digital Campaigns & Marketing Executive to manage the delivery, optimisation, and reporting of digital advertising, sponsored content, email, and paid-media campaigns.
Working across the commercial, marketing, editorial, and events teams, the successful candidate will take ownership of campaigns from initial booking and planning through to implementation and final client reporting.
This role requires a combination of digital advertising knowledge, analytical capability, and excellent project management. You will ensure that campaigns are delivered accurately on time and in line with agreed commercial commitments and performance indicators.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital advertising and campaign delivery
- Manage digital advertising campaigns from booking and set-up through to optimisation, completion, and reporting.
- Set up and monitor campaigns across Global Finance's website, newsletters, and other digital platforms.
- Manage standard and bespoke advertising formats, including display banners, takeovers, sponsored placements, and premium inventory.
- Apply targeting according to geography, content section, audience segment, and other agreed campaign parameters.
- Monitor campaign pacing, inventory, and delivery to ensure that contractual commitments are achieved.
- Identify potential delivery issues early and recommend practical solutions.
- Work with the commercial team to confirm campaign requirements, assets, timelines, and KPIs before launch.
- Maintain accurate campaign records and ensure that advertising creative complies with technical and brand specifications.
Sponsored content and commercial projects
- Manage sponsored articles and branded-content campaigns from initial brief through to publication, promotion, and reporting.
- Coordinate timelines and deliverables across clients, commercial, editorial, design, marketing, and production teams.
- Ensure that campaigns are delivered according to agreed commercial package, editorial guidelines, and deadlines.
- Manage publication schedules and associated promotional activity across relevant channels.
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and campaign value.
- Support the delivery and promotion of commercial events, webinars, roundtables, and awards-related campaigns where required.

Paid promotion and content amplification
- Plan and manage paid campaigns across platforms including LinkedIn and Google, with other channels used where appropriate.
- Develop targeting strategies based on geography, industry, company, seniority, job function, and professional interests.
- Manage budgets, campaign pacing, and performance against agreed objectives.
- Test creative, messaging, audiences, and formats to improve results.
- Optimise campaigns against objectives including reach, impressions, clicks, engagement, conversions, and cost efficiency.
- Work with the wider marketing team to maintain a coordinated approach across paid, owned, and organic channels.
Campaign reporting and analysis
- Produce clear, accurate, and timely campaign reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Track relevant metrics, including impressions, reach, viewability, click-through rates, engagement, conversions, and content performance.
- Use GA4, platform reporting, and campaign-tracking tools to evaluate performance.
- Apply consistent UTM tracking and measurement standards across campaigns.
- Analyse results and provide practical recommendations for optimisation and future activity.
- Maintain campaign benchmarks across formats, sectors, regions, and channels.
- Use historical performance data to help the commercial team develop realistic proposals, delivery forecasts, and KPIs.
- Contribute insights that can improve Global Finance's digital products and commercial packages.
Email and newsletter marketing
- Coordinate and deliver Global Finance's email marketing, newsletters, and sponsored email campaigns.
- Build, schedule, test, and monitor campaigns using the company's email platform.
- Ensure that creative and copy meet technical, brand, and data-compliance requirements.
- Improve performance through testing of subject lines, content, frequency, formats, segmentation, and calls to action.
- Monitor deliverability, engagement, subscriber growth, database health, and lifecycle performance.
- Support audience segmentation and the development of Global Finance's first-party data strategy.
- Ensure activity follows GDPR, consent, and email-marketing best practice.

Skills and experience
- Experience delivering digital advertising or integrated marketing campaigns.
- A strong understanding of display advertising and digital campaign management.
- Experience using Google Ad Manager or a comparable advertising platform.
- Experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, or similar paid-media platforms.
- Familiarity with GA4 and digital campaign measurement.
- Understanding of key advertising and marketing metrics, including impressions, viewability, CTR, engagement, conversions, and cost efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn campaign data into clear recommendations.
- Excellent project management, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Confidence working with clients and coordinating multiple internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage several campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience using SendGrid or another email-marketing platform.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, WordPress, advertising tags, tracking pixels, and UTMs.
- Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
