Digital Change Manager & Digital Project Manager – AI / AVT NHS Transformation
Location: East of England / East Anglia
Contract: 6–9 months
Sector: NHS
Working Pattern: Hybrid, with some travel across Trust sites
Start: September 2026
About the Opportunity
We are supporting an NHS Trust in the East of England with a major digital transformation programme focused on the implementation and adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Ambient Voice Technology (AVT) across clinical and operational services.
We are looking for two experienced professionals to join the programme:
- Digital Change Manager
- Digital Project Manager
Both roles will play a key part in translating new digital and AI-enabled technology into practical, sustainable improvements for NHS staff, clinicians, and patients.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have previously delivered digital transformation within an NHS Trust environment. Direct experience implementing AI, Ambient Voice Technology, or other AI-enabled solutions would be highly desirable. Experience working around major EPR programmes – particularly Epic – would also be advantageous.
Digital Change Manager
The Digital Change Manager will lead the people, process, and adoption elements of the AI/AVT transformation programme, ensuring new technology is successfully embedded into clinical and operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead change management activities associated with the implementation and adoption of AI/AVT technologies.
- Work closely with clinicians, operational leaders, digital teams, and suppliers to understand impacts and identify implementation requirements.
- Identify and manage resistance to change and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Support clinical and operational teams through implementation, go-live, and post-go-live adoption.
- Monitor adoption, engagement, and benefits realisation, identifying areas requiring further intervention.
- Ensure new ways of working are embedded and transitioned into BAU.
- Contribute to governance, reporting, RAID management, and programme documentation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
