About the Role
The role requires someone with a can-do attitude and broad appreciation of marketing, but at its core a desire to learn and advance in the world of digital. You’ll work alongside our Digital Client Managers and our freelance partners to create work that delivers outstanding outcomes for our client's brands.

What You'll Do at Work
As a digital marketing apprentice at Perfect Storm you’ll work alongside experienced strategists, creatives, developers and marketers, learning how to uncover business challenges and create marketing that genuinely makes a difference. From supporting campaigns to analysing performance and contributing to client projects, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing disciplines. You’ll be trusted to get involved from day one, with plenty of support, mentoring and opportunities to develop. We’re looking for someone inquisitive, eager to learn and who enjoys solving problems.
The Role and Responsibilities
As a key member of the client services team, the key responsibilities of the Digital Executive are to:
- Assist in building trusting relationships by providing excellent customer service to our clients, in order to support our high client retention record
- Support Strategic Client Leads, Digital Client Managers and Digital Project Leads in the delivery of work to agreed timings and budgets
- Work alongside the wider team to understand the clients' goals and objectives
- Respond to client enquiries and requests as required promptly, providing accurate and helpful information
- Collate and create weekly and monthly reports based on our activity undertaken, with the ability to talk through the context
- Develop a knowledge of the brands we work with and their customers, enabling you ensure this is represented in our work
- Support account strategy and proposals, by gathering insights on competitors, the market and our own account performance
- Ensure contact reports and WIP’s are created and kept up to date, supporting on administrative tasks as required
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital communication tools
- Support in the cross-channel delivery of account work, working with the wider team

What You'll Learn
Course contents include:
- Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
- Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources
- Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development
- Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project
- Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines
- Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media
- Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand
- Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification
- Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services
- Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are coordinated and legally compliant
- Use a content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets
- Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management
- Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives
- Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs
- Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results
- Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement
- Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data

Training Schedule
Estio apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.
Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.
Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3. Digital Marketing and AI Executive and Certified Digital Marketing Professional by DMI, with training in how to:
- Master the art of crafting compelling content tailored for diverse audiences and a variety of marketing channels, ensuring sensitivity and effectiveness in communication
- Analyse and integrate information from the multi-channel marketing landscape to inform and optimise both short-term tactics and long-term strategies
- Implement secure, innovative solutions using a broad spectrum of digital tools and platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences while achieving marketing objectives
- Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of multi-channel marketing activities, measuring success and providing actionable recommendations for enhancement
- Create and interpret insightful analytical dashboards utilising advanced digital tools, facilitating data-driven decision-making

Essential Qualifications
- GCSE in: 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (grade A*-C)
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
Other Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- Experience with different LLMs ideally
- Proactive and able to show initiative
- Inquisitive and keen to question - to always understand the ‘why?’
- Organised and strong in project management, able to juggle multiple stands of activity at once
- Excellent at communicating, clearly and concisely, both internally and externally
- Great at building relationships with clients, freelancers and internal team
- Positive in outlook and approach, passionate about the work and able to motivate others
- Not afraid to challenge - both internal teams, partners and clients to achieve the best results
- Able to remain calm under pressure and to think critically
