We have an exciting opportunity for a Ecommerce Merchandiser

Who You Are:

A highly commercial, detail-oriented person with strong organization, communication and management skills, able to work well to deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.

What You’ll Do:

Maximise Conversion and Sales

  • Execute site merchandising plans adjusting strategies based on in-depth analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) including conversion rate and average order value.
  • Support the execution of the e-commerce content calendar and trading strategies to ensure consistency and regional alignment across all digital storefronts.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and ad-hoc performance reports against site metrics and key KPIs, providing actionable insights to drive incremental conversion and sales opportunities. Complete post-event analysis for all key site activities.

Product and Site Merchandising Execution

  • Own and effectively manage all product upload and go-live activities for the websites. Coordinate cross-functionally to gather necessary data to ensure products are online in time and in full.
  • Create seasonal line list and trackers to monitor and manage the timely activation and lifecycle of all products across the EMEA sites.
  • Coordinate with US partners to manage and ensure the timely online availability of EU-only merchandise. Regularly communicate the status and action plan for all products ‘In Stock Not on Site’ to the Buying team and Senior Management.
  • Ensure all products are merchandised in the correct categories, have accurate and rich product attribution, and are presented commercially to optimize customer experience. Work with US counterparts to influence and implement EU-specific requirements.
  • Oversee the optimization of the on-site search functionality and support the effectiveness of intelligent product recommendations (e.g., cross-sells, upsells).
  • Ensure the smooth and timely execution of seasonal refreshes and major sale launches, meeting all critical path deadlines.
  • Complete weekly website reviews and audits to ensure the highest standards of excellence, consistency, and optimized performance across all sites and channels.

Cross functional relationships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buying teams to develop a solid understanding of key strategic objectives for your categories and ensure merchandising strategies are delivered to support.
  • Proactively foster an effective working relationship with the US web merchandising and EMEA web production teams, collaborating closely to share best practice and jointly identify conversion-driving opportunities.
  • Oversee the day-to-day tasks of the coordinators, providing clear support, guidance, and training to develop their skill sets.
  • Support the Concession Co-Ordinator as required, ensuring product loading and display on partner sites adhere to the established critical path.

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Extensive experience in an e-com site merchandising role ideally within an international retail environment.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject area.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Advanced skillset for extracting and utilizing data from a web metrics tool (Ideally Adobe Omniture).
  • Experience managing e-com toolsets such as SFCC, Content Square, Dynamic Yield, an advantage.
  • Strong PC Skills – Advanced Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
