Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 DOE

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a digitally savvy communications professional to help maximise the reach, engagement and impact of Riverlane's communications across our digital channels.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will play a central role in planning, publishing and measuring digital communications activity across Riverlane's owned channels. Working closely with colleagues across Communications, Product Marketing, and Brand & Creative, you will help ensure our news, thought leadership, product updates and key announcements reach the audiences that matter most.
You will act as the day-to-day owner of Riverlane's digital communications channels, maintaining an integrated content calendar, coordinating content publication and using performance insights to continually improve our digital presence.
What You Will Do
As Digital Communications Associate, you will:
- Manage Riverlane's social media channels, including LinkedIn and Bluesky.
- Own and maintain an integrated content calendar across social media, web content and newsletters.
- Publish and promote content in support of company announcements, partnerships, product launches, events and thought leadership activity.
- Support the production and delivery of newsletters and email communications.
- Publish and maintain content across Riverlane's website and other owned digital channels.
- Support SEO and AI-search optimisation activities by implementing content improvements, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
- Track and analyse channel performance, audience engagement and digital trends, using insights to improve future activity.
- Support the growth and development of Riverlane's digital channels, including video and emerging platforms.

What We Need
- Relevant experience in digital communications, content marketing, social media or a related field, typically gained over 2-5 years.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Experience managing digital channels and content calendars.
- Experience publishing website content using a content management system (CMS).
- Familiarity with email marketing, analytics and digital reporting tools.
- An understanding of SEO principles and interest in emerging AI-search trends.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative, proactive approach and enthusiasm for working in a fast-moving technology environment.
- Bonus: Experience in B2B technology, software, deep tech or scientific communications.
