We're hiring a Digital Communications Officer

We're hiring a Digital Communications Officer at an exciting time as we refresh our brand and expand the team. You'll help shape how we do this by bringing your own ideas and creative flair to a team that's making a difference.

About the Role

This role would suit someone with a good mix of content design and editing skills across web, graphics, documents, and video, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and website CMS. Maybe you have a digital media degree, or have worked in a similar role before, or have built up your skills as a freelancer. If you can show us the work, we want to hear from you.

We're looking for someone who is confident with image and video editing tools, who communicates clearly, and understands how content needs to be adapted for different audiences and digital channels, including websites, email, and social media. You'll be involved in creating engaging content, utilising user insight and analytical tools such as Google Analytics, you'll support continual improvements to the user experience and our digital activity.

Responsibilities

  • Creating content through a wide variety of mediums which aligns with our brand identity and enhances brand awareness
  • Analysing channel performance, optimising the user experience, and implementing any improvements using tools such as Google Analytics, Data Studio, and Power BI dashboards.
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of our digital channels, including our website, social media, intranet, and email campaigns
  • Assisting in the development of user personas, key user journeys, and task flows. Ensure digital content and assets align with HCPC brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and web best practice

  • Working with external suppliers to help in the production of materials in alternative formats (e.g., braille, audio, other languages)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
