We’re looking for a Digital Communications Officer to join our friendly, fast-paced Development and Communications team. You'll help ensure the ICR’s website is engaging, accessible and easy to find, working with colleagues across the organisation to create compelling digital content that supports our research, fundraising and reputation.

You’ll be passionate about digital storytelling and using digital channels to connect with audiences and drive impact. An interest in cancer research would be a bonus, but most importantly you'll be excited about communicating complex ideas in a clear, engaging way.

As our Digital Communications Officer, you will:

  • Review, edit and publish website content, ensuring it is accurate, engaging and accessible.
  • Create and edit digital content, including web copy, videos, graphics and other multimedia assets.
  • Work with researchers, fundraisers and colleagues to develop effective online content.
  • Support the ongoing development and optimisation of the organisation's website.
  • Deliver digital projects to a high standard while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Provide training and guidance on CMS use, digital best practice and accessibility.
  • Support social media content creation and channel management when required.
  • Develop and maintain digital assets and content within the digital asset management system.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
