Digital Consultant

Edinburgh (Hybrid – 2 days a week in the office)
£45k - £70k DOE

Are you an experienced digital professional who enjoys turning complex challenges into practical, deliverable solutions?

This is an opportunity to join a hands-on consultancy role, working closely with clients to shape and deliver meaningful digital change. You will build trusted stakeholder relationships quickly, bring clarity to ambiguity and maintain momentum from early discovery through to delivery.

You will take a positive, solution-focused approach while remaining confident enough to challenge constructively, whether that means pushing back on scope, reconciling competing priorities or helping senior stakeholders make informed decisions.

Projects Include

  • Legacy system replacement and digital transformation
  • Discovery-led service design and digital strategy
  • Public-facing digital services

What You’ll Do

  • Gather, synthesise and analyse evidence from multiple sources to identify priorities, risks and opportunities.
  • Plan and facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops and co-design sessions.
  • Produce high-quality outputs such as user journeys, process flows, discovery reports, product backlogs, roadmaps and target operating designs.
  • Own product or service outcomes, making informed decisions on scope, priorities and trade-offs.
  • Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, including user research, design, engineering, architecture and project delivery.
  • Use AI tools intelligently to accelerate analysis and consultancy activity while applying critical judgement to their outputs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
