Join us as a Digital Content and Channels Lead

Lead the creative development and executional delivery of our digital content and channels strategy with the External Communications team.

You'll drive discoverability through engaging content that brings our corporate story to life across digital channels. You’ll also support the delivery of digital assets for the bank’s Annual Report, working closely with our Financial Media and Investor Relations teams.

We're offering this role for a period of 16 months.

What you'll do

As Digital Content and Channels Lead, you’ll oversee an annual programme of content to support storytelling across the bank. You’ll decide how content is produced for our owned digital channels, ensuring it delivers the right message at the right moment for our audiences.

  • Leading a small team of multimedia content specialists, including editorial, video, and social creators
  • Working with stakeholders across the business to devise, produce and deliver a calendar of ‘always-on’ content to support our website, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital corporate channels
  • Amplifying corporate and consumer campaigns through informative and engaging content
  • Optimising content to support discoverability across emerging AI search
  • Supporting our Financial Media and Investor Relations team on the development and delivery of digital assets for our Annual Report
  • Measuring content performance and reporting outcomes to the Corporate Affairs leadership team

The skills you'll need

To join us in this role, you’ll need dedicated digital communications experience, as well as a demonstrable understanding of how AI search is transforming discoverability. You’ll need to be curious and creative, with high energy to lead a busy team on day-to-day delivery, while contributing as a subject matter expert and leader within the wider External Communications function.

Additionally, You’ll Demonstrate

  • Strong stakeholder management, consulting and presentation skills
  • Creative approaches to the development and delivery of digital content based on corporate communications assets
  • Experience of day-to-day usage and management of digital channels, platforms, and tools
  • Understanding of potential opportunities and challenges of AI search
  • The ability to work at pace, manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Line management experience and professionalism when handling team members
