Volunteer Opportunity: Digital Content & Social Media
A sister organisation is seeking a volunteer to support its digital content and social media activities. This is a great opportunity for you to learn on the job. We want someone who enjoys creating content, exploring ideas and learning by doing. No pressure!
You’ll work alongside a team to:
- Develop fun and engaging content ideas
- Create social media graphics
- Edit short-form videos
- Support social media posting and management
- Collaborate on digital campaigns and publicity initiatives
- Explore relevant UK news, events and conversations around women, gender equality and gender-based violence (GBV)

We’re looking for someone who is creative, proactive and willing to learn, with an interest in women’s issues, gender equality and advocacy. Basic experience with Canva/design, video editing or social media management is helpful, as well as some familiarity with UK specific and global news, events and digital trends.

Time commitment: Approximately 1–2 hours a day, with flexibility around your schedule.
Note: This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity and is particularly suited to someone looking to build their skills and gain practical experience in digital content and communications.
