Role Description
The Digital Content, Campaigns and Social Media Officer is a full-time role responsible for planning, creating, and managing digital content that supports LGBT HERO’s mission and campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include developing and publishing content across websites, email, and social media channels, ensuring messaging is inclusive, accurate, and engaging for diverse LGBTQ+ audiences. The role involves coordinating digital campaigns, monitoring performance, analyzing engagement data, and adjusting strategies to maximize reach and impact. The officer will collaborate with colleagues, volunteers, and community partners to highlight services, amplify community voices, and promote health and wellbeing initiatives. This is a hybrid role based in Greater London, with a mix of office work and some work from home.

- Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per year
- Contract: Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension subject to funding and organizational need
- Location: Hybrid, with attendance in London when required - you should ideally be located within Greater London or surrounding areas.

Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
- Experience in Digital Strategy and Digital Marketing to plan, deliver, and optimize online campaigns.
- Analytical Skills to interpret data, track performance metrics, and make evidence-based decisions.
- Project Management capabilities to coordinate multiple digital projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, content management systems, and basic design or multimedia tools.
- Understanding of LGBTQ+ health, wellbeing, and rights, and a commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team, manage competing priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant experience in digital communications, marketing, or campaigns; formal education in a related field is beneficial but not essential.
