Digital Content Coordinator
Mind the Garment CIC | Wear, Care, Share project
Immediate Start
Hours: 8 hours per week, with flexible working
Contract: Six months, fixed term
Location: Primarily remote, with occasional agreed activities in the North East
Help us turn practical environmental science into stories people want to share.
Mind the Garment CIC helps families understand the environmental impact of school uniforms and find ways to care for, repair and reuse them. Through Wear, Care, Share, we are delivering hands-on science workshops with schools and building partnerships across the North East.
We are looking for a Digital Content Coordinator who can help more schools, families and community partners discover our work. You will shape a consistent, engaging presence across our social media channels and help turn online interest into workshop enquiries and meaningful connections.
What you will do
- Plan and create clear, accessible posts, graphics and short videos about school uniforms, textile waste, washing pollution, repair and reuse.
- Share workshop news, project progress and practical tips using our existing brand style.
- Schedule content and respond to relevant comments and messages, referring enquiries to the project team when needed.
- Build connections with schools, community organisations and potential partners, and identify opportunities for them to share our work.
- Track reach, engagement, website visits and enquiries, then use what you learn to improve the content.
- Work with the Project Manager to approve content before publication and follow consent and safeguarding requirements when featuring pupils or workshop activities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
We expect a manageable rhythm of around three to four quality posts each week, with short-form video and partner content planned around project activities. You will help choose the channels that best reach our audiences rather than trying to post everywhere.
Who we are looking for
You can write engaging, appealing digital content and adapt a message for different audiences. You understand how to use social media insights and are comfortable testing ideas, learning from results and managing your time independently.
