The role

At SSEN Transmission, we're playing a vital role in delivering the network infrastructure needed to support the UK's transition to a net zero future. As our Digital Content Executive, you'll help tell that story through compelling, engaging and accessible digital content that connects with communities, stakeholders and audiences across our social media and digital channels. Working closely with colleagues across Corporate Affairs, you'll combine creativity with insight to bring campaigns, projects and business priorities to life, helping to strengthen our digital presence while promoting our commitment to safety, sustainability and responsible growth.

You will

  • Create high-quality written, visual and video content for social media and digital channels, ensuring all content is engaging, inclusive, accurate and aligned with our brand, values and safety-first culture.
  • Deliver and optimise social media activity across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube, tailoring content to maximise audience engagement and reach.
  • Partner with the Website and Social Media Manager and wider Corporate Affairs teams to support content plans, campaigns and storytelling that showcase SSEN Transmission's priorities and impact.
  • Monitor content performance using data and analytics, identifying opportunities to continuously improve engagement, effectiveness and audience experience.
  • Champion accessibility, brand consistency and digital best practice, while supporting website content management and maintaining awareness of emerging trends, technologies and platform developments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
