PURPOSE OF JOB:
Bytes are looking for an experienced, AI-fluent B2B content marketer and natural storyteller to help evolve what great content marketing looks like.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Lead, this role will create, optimise and promote content that builds awareness, supports demand generation and helps move enterprise buyers through the journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and deliver
- Plan and create content across the full buyer journey, from brand awareness and demand generation through to ABM, sales engagement and customer-facing moments.
- Develop thought leadership and point-of-view content that gives Bytes a credible voice in enterprise conversations around AI, cloud, security, productivity and technology transformation.
- Turn industry trends, product updates, events, vendor priorities and customer stories into creative hooks, campaign assets and content that can be repurposed across channels.
- Create and edit content across long-form, web, email, social, webinar, ABM, event, video and sales channels.
- Maintain a high bar for quality, accuracy, brand voice, SEO, GEO and AEO performance.
- Partner and activate
- Partner closely with campaign, product marketing, field, digital, partner, sales and events teams, contributing ideas early, shaping briefs and delivering content that goes beyond the ask where it can.
- Build strong relationships with subject matter experts, peers, partners and sales teams to turn credible insight into specific, useful content.
- Work with marketing peers to promote, repurpose and distribute content so it is used, seen and measured.
- Support sales engagement with content that helps open conversations, progress opportunities and make complex ideas easier to act on.
- Optimise and evolve
- Use GA4 and other tools to understand what works, what does not, and how content can be improved across message, format, distribution and conversion.
- Use performance insight to make clear recommendations and improve content over time.
- Embrace AI across research, ideation, drafting, repurposing, analysis and workflow improvement.
- Share smarter ways of working that improve efficiency and free up time for higher-quality thinking.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Educational/Professional Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Advertising, PR, Journalism or a related field; fluent business English with exceptional written communication.
ESSENTIAL
Years of Experience
- 3 to 4 years’ experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, software or services.
ESSENTIAL OR DESIRABLE
Other Requirements
- Copywriting: Strong ability to turn complex technical and market input into clear, engaging content for senior audiences and buying committees.
- AI fluency: Actively using AI across research, ideation, drafting, repurposing and analysis, with interest in smarter content workflows.
- Search and answer visibility: Confident applying SEO, GEO and AEO principles to improve discoverability.
- Data fluency: Comfortable using GA4 or similar tools to understand performance and optimise content.
- Format range: Able to produce long-form pieces, campaign assets, event narratives, video concepts, interactive formats and sales enablement content.
- Working style: Self-starting, pragmatic and helpful, able to deliver to a brief or lead content-led initiatives end-to-end.
