Global Digital Content Manager - Remington
Location: Manchester
Contract: 12-Month Maternity Cover
Spectrum Brands is a global branded consumer products company with a portfolio spanning a range of household, personal care, and pet care categories. As part of the Personal Care category, Remington is a globally recognized brand with a strong presence across haircare, grooming, and personal styling. This is an exciting opportunity to join the global team and play a key role in bringing Remington's products and brand proposition to life through impactful digital content.
We are looking for a creative and experienced Global Digital Content Manager to lead the global digital content strategy for the Remington brand across Personal Care.
This is a 12-month maternity cover position starting in October 2026, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact within a global brand and fast-moving digital environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality digital content across key channels and markets, supporting customers and consumers through compelling product, educational, and inspirational content. This will include Category and Product Display Pages (PDPs), content hubs, marketplace listings, retailer websites, product feeds, and social channels.
Working across North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific, and Latin America, you will partner closely with Brand, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, and regional commercial teams to ensure content is on-brand, compelling, and delivered at the right time to support local activation and conversion.
You will lead a small Content team, including one Content Executive, managing priorities, budgets, and workloads to deliver against key product launches and seasonal campaigns. You will also work closely with @mplify, our in-house creative design and video studio, as well as external partners, to bring creative concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Remington Digital Content team, creating engaging website and social content for new and existing products across global markets.
- Develop and deliver a full suite of creative assets aligned to two annual NPD launches and Global Operating Model timelines.
- Work with wider teams to prioritize and plan content and asset requirements based on business needs.
- Develop content calendars and seasonal campaigns using data, insight, and collaboration with Digital Marketing and local teams.
- Develop and implement new digital content concepts and ideas across global brands.
- Own and manage the annual budget for product content production.
- Explore and develop Gen AI content creation techniques and capabilities.
- Brief internal and external creative teams on digital asset requirements for campaigns, product launches, social content, and local market activity.
- Partner with Digital Marketing to share content and social media best practice with regional and local teams.
- Lead the development of strategic content playbooks where required.
- Act as the key point of contact for Brand teams and external partners, ensuring an integrated approach to campaigns and product launches.
- Ensure content is legally approved and suitable for use across relevant markets.
- Manage team workload, priorities, and deadlines to ensure timely delivery.
- Lead and develop direct reports through coaching, performance management, and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with @mplify to deliver high-quality creative, photography, and video assets.

About You
You’ll be a creative and commercially minded digital content professional with proven experience delivering engaging content and campaigns, ideally within a consumer, retail, FMCG, or branded environment.
You’ll be confident managing creative projects from brief to delivery, with experience across photography, video, social, and digital content. Highly organized and collaborative, you’ll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, leading a small team, and working with stakeholders and creative partners across global markets.
Curious about emerging trends and technologies, you’ll also be excited to explore how Gen AI can enhance content creation and digital experiences.
You will have:
- Proven experience creating and delivering digital content and creative campaigns, ideally within a consumer, retail, FMCG, or branded environment.
- Strong experience managing photography and video shoots, including working with models, plus video editing capability.
- Experience leading, managing, and developing a creative or digital content team.
- Strong creative ideation, copywriting, and content development skills, with the ability to work within brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Excellent understanding of social media formats and digital content across key platforms, including e-commerce and retailer websites.
- Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) and digital asset production.
- Strong planning, organization, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with an interest in emerging technologies, including Gen AI.
