Role Overview
As Fortnum & Mason continues to grow, our content plays an increasingly important role in helping us reach more people, more often, and in more meaningful ways. From our stores to our digital channels, content connects our craftsmanship, stories, and products with customers wherever they are, and at every stage of their journey.
This role is responsible for driving efficiency and value from that content. This includes overseeing budgets, identifying economies of scale, and maximising content opportunities through thoughtful repurposing and reuse across locations and channels. In parallel, the role owns the governance, organisation, and day-to-day management of Fortnum’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. To support this ambition, the role plans, coordinates, and oversees all content requirements across Fortnum’s stores and digital touchpoints through ownership of a clear, centralised master content schedule.
Responsibilities
Content Scheduling & Oversight
- Own and maintain a single, central master content schedule covering all Fortnum’s locations and digital touchpoints.
- Implement and manage a clear traffic-light system to track content requests, production stages, approvals, delivery, and readiness.
- Ensure photography production timelines are fully aligned to content priorities and delivery plans.
- Provide visibility across teams on priorities, deadlines, dependencies, and risk.
- Plan content realistically, avoiding clashes, duplication, and last-minute gaps.
- Act as the central coordination point across campaigns, seasonal activity, and evergreen content.
Maximising Content Opportunities
- Take an active view of how content can be repurposed, re-cut, or re-spliced across locations, formats, and channels.
- Identify opportunities to extend content life and value through alternative edits, versions, crops, or placements.
- Ensure content is briefed and delivered with reuse in mind, supporting a joined-up estate and digital approach.
- Champion smarter use of existing assets to maximise return on production investment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HFSS requirements and ensure content adheres to regulations where applicable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
