Scale:

Grade 6, £31,537 - £33,699 per annum, 37 hours per week (permanent contract).

Location:

Service Headquarters, Hindlip Hall.

Overview:

At Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS), every member of our staff helps to make a difference to our local communities. We are looking for a Digital Content Producer to join our Corporate and Digital Communications department. Working closely as part of our team, you will be passionate about helping us deliver the highest standards of digital and video content. The role will include a varied and interesting range of projects, including opportunities to produce content of fire and rescue training scenarios.

The role:

The Digital Content Producer will provide high quality creative digital content, including video, audio, photography and motion graphics. You will film and edit video, audio and imagery to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.

Key requirement:

  • Experience of producing digital content from creation to production.

Applicants must:

  • Hold a Level 6 qualification in a creative subject such as Digital Media Production, Creative Media, or Design for Digital Media.
  • Have full and detailed knowledge of professional creative software including the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Be able to present a portfolio of own work which demonstrates creative digital content from concept creation to end product.

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to work closely and communicate with team members and all staff.
  • Ability to produce creative content to a high standard.
  • Ability to manage own workload, with minimal supervision.
  • Have excellent IT skills, able to use a range of IT systems e.g. Microsoft 365.
  • Hold a current driving licence and be a car driver.

Flexi-time scheme allowing you to have an element of flexibility over your working hours and place of work (home / office) after successful completion of the probation period.

The successful applicant will be subject to a NPPV Level 2 Vetting Check, as we are co-located on West Mercia Police premises.
