Are you a creative digital content producer with the expertise to grow audiences, drive engagement and bring stories to life? Do you have a passion for creating compelling content that engages, informs and inspires? Then we'd love to hear from you.
The Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) is the world's leading professional body for structural engineering. Our global membership designs many of the world's most iconic buildings, bridges and infrastructure, shaping the places where millions of people live and work.
We're looking for a creative and driven Digital Content Producer to develop strategies that increase engagement, strengthen our digital presence and support organisational objectives. This is a practical role for someone who combines strategic thinking with outstanding content creation skills and a proven track record of driving audience growth through high-performing digital campaigns.
You'll lead the planning and delivery of audience-focused, data-driven content across video, podcasts, audio articles, editorial and social media channels. Using insight, analytics and platform expertise, you'll create content that cuts through, optimising content and channel performance and identifying opportunities to expand reach and engagement.
From content planning and campaign management to producing social-first content, you'll play a central role in how we engage members, build communities and tell stories that demonstrate the impact of structural engineers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
