Digital Content Specialist

Holmes Chapel – Hybrid £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

Focus 5 Recruitment are partnering with a growing and ambitious business to recruit a Digital Content Specialist who can combine strong written content skills with visual creativity, digital marketing expertise and a commercial mindset.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys creating content but is equally interested in what that content achieves. We're looking for someone who can write compelling copy, create engaging visual assets and use data and analytics to understand what is working, what isn't and how to improve performance.

This isn't a traditional copywriting role, nor is it a graphic design position. It's a genuine blend of content, design, digital marketing and conversion optimisation.

You'll be working primarily across landing pages, email campaigns and customer journeys, while also getting involved in advertising, blogs and wider campaign content. We're looking for someone who understands that great digital content isn't simply about looking good or sounding good. It needs to capture attention, influence behaviour, move customers through a journey and ultimately contribute to business growth.

The Role

As Digital Content Specialist, you'll take ownership of creating and optimising digital content across a range of channels, with a particular focus on landing pages, email campaigns and conversion-focused customer journeys.

You'll combine written and visual content skills to create campaigns that are engaging, consistent and designed around a clear commercial objective. Working closely with the wider marketing team, you'll use performance data and customer insight to continually test, learn and improve content and campaigns.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
