Summary

The Senior Digital Creative Manager delivers the creative response to paid media channel strategy, developing high-level digital content frameworks that translate brand marketing activity into scalable, platform-ready creative. Reporting into the Digital Content Lead and working closely with paid media leads, brand marketing managers, internal stakeholders and external agency partners, this role ensures content is optimised for channel, audience and objective while remaining aligned to brand standards.

The role is key to increasing agility, improving creative effectiveness and maximising the value of assets generated across marketing, including campaign, organic and ecommerce content. It oversees the Digital Creative Specialist in delivering broader content requirements, ensuring seamless execution, strong brand compliance and continuous optimisation based on performance insight provided by the paid media channel team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate core brand, campaign, organic, ecommerce and influencer assets into multiple digital formats and variations tailored to platform, audience and objective across awareness, consideration and conversion.
  • Develop scalable digital content frameworks based on channel strategy and brand marketing activity, ensuring the creative response is fit for platform while channel strategy remains owned by the channel team.
  • Apply strong brand and creative judgement to curate asset sets, ensuring product images, colourways, layouts and messaging work together logically and remain on-brand at scale.
  • Partner with external creative agencies, internal stakeholders and paid media teams to deliver high-quality digital creative outputs that align with performance goals, brand guardrails and agreed briefs.
  • Support test-and-learn activity across messaging, formats, audiences and creative variants, ensuring outputs are practical, actionable and aligned to funnel objectives.
  • Translate campaign learnings into clear creative recommendations that can be applied to future content development and versioning.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of key digital and social platforms, including Meta and TikTok, with a clear understanding of how to create content that resonates and performs.
  • Understand the platforms and tools used to deploy, adapt and optimise digital creative, including relevant automation, feed-based and in-house creative solutions where appropriate.
  • Act as the internal authority on platform-specific creative best practice, advising stakeholders and agency partners on how creative variables impact performance and delivery.
  • Proactively track emerging social trends, AI-enabled creative solutions and new approaches that could improve speed, relevance and effectiveness of digital content.
  • Line manage and develop the Digital Creative Specialist, overseeing delivery of broader digital content requirements and supporting clear prioritisation across workload.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
