Digital Delivery Lead (Contract)
Duration: Initial 6 Months
Location: Reading (hybrid - 2 days per week)
Contract Type: Inside IR35 Day Rate
We're looking for an experienced Digital Delivery Lead to drive the successful delivery of technology initiatives across a key retail platform within a large-scale international retail environment.
This role is ideal for a delivery professional with strong experience leading complex technology programmes, managing multiple stakeholders, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end delivery across a key Digital & Customer Technology platform.
- Manage and prioritise demand from multiple projects and product teams.
- Drive delivery across internal teams, external suppliers, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure successful planning, governance, risk management, and execution of technology initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with Product Owners, Architects, Technology Leaders, and business stakeholders.
- Manage supplier performance and delivery in a multi-vendor environment.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams to overcome challenges and achieve programme objectives.

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience in Delivery Management, Programme Delivery, or Project Delivery roles.
- Proven track record delivering technology solutions in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Experience within retail technology and an understanding of retail systems and processes.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or other delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and multi-vendor delivery environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement at Head of and senior leadership level.
- Strong planning, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to lead through influence and coordinate diverse teams to deliver business outcomes.

Desirable Experience
- Delivery experience across retail domains such as Digital, Supply Chain, Planning & Trading, Sourcing & ESG, or Store Operations.
- Professional certifications including PMP, PRINCE2, APM, Scrum Master, or SAFe.
