About the Role

You'll be responsible for end-to-end delivery of technology work across GroupNexus's Digital function, covering Product, Engineering and Technology Operations, as well as work delivered by our outsourced development partners. You'll own intake and prioritisation, portfolio tracking, release readiness, and handover to operations and support, making sure work is tested, documented and supportable before it reaches customers.

You'll report to the CTO and have significant autonomy. Our new delivery operating model is being defined now, so you'll help shape and embed it. Delivery here is increasingly AI-led, and you'll help shape how AI is used across the delivery lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Run a single intake process for all Digital work, and own the demand board, prioritising with the Head of Product against value, capacity and dependencies
  • Make sure every piece of work has a clear owner, scope and definition of done before it starts, and manage scope changes visibly
  • Track progress across the portfolio every week, chase actively, and escalate slippage, blockers and risks early
  • Run the delivery cadence (cycle planning, reviews and retrospectives)
  • Own release readiness: test sign-off, release approval, go-live coordination, runbooks, documentation, training and business communications
  • Manage handover to support teams and operational acceptance
  • Bring outsourced delivery into the same intake, tracking and release processes as in-house work, and hold suppliers to agreed standards on quality, timelines and documentation
  • Define and embed a lean, proportionate delivery process, applying Agile and release management pragmatically
  • Embed AI-led ways of working across planning, tracking, testing, documentation and reporting, and make sure work produced with AI coding agents is properly validated, tested and documented
  • Be the main point of contact for delivery status, giving the CTO and senior leadership regular updates on progress, risks and release plans

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
