Job Description: Digital Designer
Location: Brighton
Contract Type: FTC – 9 months
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days a week in the office
Hours: 35 hours
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 depending on experience.

Based within our Marketing and Digital Team, you'll create impactful digital content across email, web, and digital channels that supports customer engagement, brand growth, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities
As a Digital Designer, you'll:
- Create high-quality digital content across email marketing, website landing pages, digital banners, and social media channels.
- Support the delivery of creative digital campaigns and business-as-usual content that helps drive customer engagement, growth, and retention.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and provide creative input and recommendations.
- Use customer insights, data, and analytics to inform design decisions and improve digital performance.
- Champion best practice in user experience (UX), user interface (UI) design, and accessibility.
- Help maintain and protect Bupa's brand standards, making sure all digital content aligns with brand and regulatory requirements.
- Research new technologies, tools, and design trends to bring fresh thinking and continuous improvement to the team.
- Support process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and the overall customer experience.
- Contribute to onboarding and sharing knowledge with new team members when needed.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a talented Digital Designer who combines strong creative skills with a customer-focused mindset.
You'll have:
- A degree, qualification, or equivalent experience in a relevant design discipline.
- Substantial experience in a digital design role, either in-house or within an agency environment.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong experience using Figma.
- A good understanding of typography, colour, layout, photography, and visual storytelling.
- Experience creating digital assets for email, web landing pages, HTML5 banners, and social media.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to agreed deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and spoken English.
- Confidence building positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across different teams.
- A proactive approach, curiosity to keep learning, and a passion for creating great digital experiences.
