Midweight Paid Social Designer Role
Salary: £40,000 (Potentially slightly more depending on experience)
Location: Central London
Working pattern: Hybrid — 2 days per week in the studio (Weds, Thurs)
Also open to a Freelance position as well as a permanent role
The Opportunity
I’m recruiting for a Midweight Paid Social Designer to join an established, employee-owned creative studio working with a roster of global consumer brands. This is a great opportunity for a designer who is conceptually strong, culturally switched-on and passionate about social-first creative. You’ll have sharp visual taste and a strong understanding of what resonates with modern, Gen Z-aware audiences.
The Role
You’ll develop standout paid social creative from brief through to completion, working across static, interactive and motion formats. You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing creative for paid social and digital advertising.
- Creating static and interactive assets, including collage and editorial-style work.
- Producing video content, from simple cutdowns to more technical executions such as rotoscoping.
- Creating on-brand lifestyle assets using GenAI tools.
- Managing multiple brands and projects to tight deadlines.
- Working closely with Creative Leads and client stakeholders.
- Taking feedback well and contributing positively to the wider studio.

What They’re Looking For
- A strong portfolio showing genuine cultural fluency and work created for Gen Z audiences.
- Experience in paid social, digital advertising and CPG/consumer brands.
- Strong visual design skills, particularly in collage, editorial or moodboard-style work.
- Confident Photoshop and After Effects skills.
- A good understanding of social-first creative and different paid social formats.
- A self-starter who works well independently and collaboratively.
- Figma / GenAI experience is a plus; 3D / Cinema 4D is a bonus.
