DIGITAL/ECOMMERCE DESIGNER - PREMIUM CONSUMER BRAND (SCALE-UP)
We're working with an ambitious, founder-led consumer brand entering a significant period of growth. With a strong premium proposition, an established customer base and ambitious plans for scale, they're now rebuilding their marketing function and looking for their first in-house designer.
This is a genuinely hands-on opportunity for a designer who wants to have a visible impact on a growing business. You'll sit at the intersection of ecommerce, performance marketing, CRM and brand, helping shape how customers experience the brand from first interaction through to purchase and beyond.
You'll have significant autonomy, direct access to the founders and the opportunity to build the creative foundations that will support the next stage of the company's growth.
What they need –
- Someone who can own digital creative across the customer journey, with proven experience creating work across paid social, ecommerce landing pages, CRM/email, social and wider marketing channels - think digital brand guardianship (with some ad-hoc print responsibility)
- A designer with strong commercial instincts, who understands that great creative needs to capture attention, communicate clearly and ultimately encourage customers to convert, with the ability to learn from performance and continually improve the work
- Someone comfortable designing for premium ecommerce brands, with a strong eye for visual quality and the ability to balance conversion, usability and brand rather than defaulting to purely functional or overly performance-led creative
- Someone who enjoys being close to the work, capable of taking an idea from brief and concept through to finished execution while managing multiple priorities in a small, fast-moving environment
- An established designer, who can build rather than simply maintain, excited by the opportunity to become the first in-house designer, establish creative systems and templates, and help shape how the brand evolves as the wider marketing team grows

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
