Digital Designer
The Digital Designer role is an exciting opportunity for a creative and user-focused designer to help bring Scope’s brand to life. We are looking for someone who can create engaging, accessible digital experiences and high-quality design across a range of digital and print channels. Working across campaigns, fundraising, retail, communications and corporate projects, you'll help ensure our content is impactful, consistent and accessible to all audiences.
Permanent, full time (35 hours a week)
Location: Here East Press Centre, 14 East Bay Lane, London, E15 2GW and working from home.

The role
Working as part of the Brand and Marketing team, you will create engaging digital and print experiences that support Scope's mission and strategic priorities. From websites and campaigns to reports and event materials, you'll combine strong digital design skills with a user-centred approach to create work that is accessible, effective and on brand.
You will:
- Create high-quality creative work across digital and print channels, from concept through to final artwork.
- Design accessible digital experiences, including user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and user interface designs.
- Use research, testing, feedback and performance data to improve design decisions.
- Champion Scope's brand and ensure consistency, quality and accessibility across all outputs.
- Contribute to the development of Scope's design system, style guide and creative standards.
- Deliver print materials including reports, campaign assets, event materials and retail collateral.
- Manage design projects and work closely with colleagues, agencies and freelancers to deliver projects on time.
- Promote user-centred design and help improve digital and brand experiences across Scope.

About you
We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating accessible and engaging design. You'll be a creative problem-solver who enjoys combining strong visual design skills with an understanding of user needs to create great experiences.
You’ll be someone who:
- Has experience designing user journeys, wireframes and website experiences.
- Has strong digital design skills and can bring a brand to life across multiple channels.
- Understands UX, UI and digital design best practice.
- Has experience creating accessible and user-centred designs.
- Can prepare artwork for both digital and print production.
- Manages projects effectively and delivers high-quality work to deadlines.
- Builds positive relationships and enjoys working collaboratively with others.
It would be great if you also bring:
- Understanding of the social model of disability.
- Experience in a charity, consumer or media environment.
- Experience creating animation for social, event or web content.
- Knowledge of HTML.
- An interest in using AI and new technologies to improve creative outcomes.
