Job title: Digital Designer (Email, Web & App)
Based at: Location Flexible (Hybrid; Able to commute to Sandown Park once a week)
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
As our Digital Designer (CRM, Email, Web & App), you'll be at the heart of bringing The Jockey Club’s brands to life across every digital touchpoint. From eye-catching email campaigns to engaging web and app experiences, you'll create high-impact creative that captivates audiences, drives engagement and elevates the customer journey.
Working within our Creative Studio and collaborating closely with CRM and Marketing teams, you'll combine outstanding design skills with technical expertise to deliver responsive, accessible and performance-driven digital assets. About the role
- Create standout email campaigns and digital assets that bring The Jockey Club's brands to life.
- Design engaging customer experiences across CRM, web and app channels.
- Deliver creative that is visually compelling, accessible, responsive and performance focused.
- Partner with CRM, Marketing and key stakeholders to develop effective campaign creative.
- Apply digital design best practice to maximise engagement across devices and platforms.
- Translate campaign ideas into high-quality digital assets that drive customer action.
- Contribute creative thinking and fresh ideas to campaigns across the business.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Help evolve digital templates, design systems and standards to drive consistency and efficiency.
About You
- Proven experience in digital, CRM or email design, supported by a strong portfolio of impactful work.
- Expertise in creating engaging email campaigns and digital assets across web and app platforms.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, with experience using Figma, Adobe XD or similar digital design tools.
- A strong understanding of responsive design, email accessibility and cross-device performance.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms and email production best practice, with experience in platforms such as Dotdigital being advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail, typography and visual communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, balance priorities and consistently deliver high-quality work to deadline.
- A collaborative, proactive approach and confidence working with stakeholders across creative, marketing and CRM teams.
- A passion for digital design, emerging technologies and evolving trends, including AI-powered customer experiences.

Knowledge and experience
Essential:
- Knowledge of email rendering, compatibility and accessibility across varying devices and email clients.
- Experience creating digital assets to work on Web or App platforms.
Desirable:
- Experience working with digital templating systems, such as Azzuu.
- Basic HTML, JavaScript and CSS knowledge
- Understanding of HTML email structure and designing for HTML implementation
