Role description
We’re Hovia, a modern wallpaper brand that believes in putting design first in everything we do. We’re looking for a talented Digital Designer to join our creative marketing team and help bring the Hovia brand to life across paid advertising, email, website and social media.
Paid creative will be at the heart of this role. You’ll develop eye-catching, high-performing creative for Meta and Google, combining strong visual design with engaging copy and using campaign performance and customer insights to shape what we create next.
Creativity is at the heart of everything we do, so we want someone who isn’t afraid to think outside the box and take a concept from start to finish. You’ll work closely with our Paid Marketing, Creative and Brand teams to develop ideas, test different approaches and create work that both strengthens the Hovia brand and delivers against commercial goals.
Team: Consumer Sales
Unit: Hovia, part of Gimmersta Wallpaper UK Ltd
Reports to: Head of Consumer Sales
Employment type: Part-time [3-days / 21 hours]
Salary: £27k - £30k FTE
Salary pro rata: £16.2k - £18k
Areas of responsibility
- Create scroll-stopping, high-performing creative for Meta and Google, combining great visual design with engaging copy.
- Edit and repurpose video content for paid marketing, turning footage and imagery from brand and photography shoots into engaging, platform-ready ads.
- Develop and test fresh creative concepts, using campaign objectives, customer personas and performance insights to inform new ideas, messaging and executions.
- Produce a high volume of creative variations for testing, adapting concepts across formats, audiences, markets and placements.
- Work closely with our Paid Marketing team, proactively identifying opportunities for new creative concepts and tests rather than simply responding to briefs.
- Create and adapt supporting assets across website, email and organic social, while keeping the Hovia brand consistent and distinctive across every customer touchpoint.
- Own the localisation and translation of creative assets, ensuring designs and messaging work naturally and consistently across different markets and languages.
- Manage and update customer-facing printed materials as required, including sample covers, roll headers and hanging guides.
- Occasionally support the wider Creative team with artwork, image editing, Photoshop and production-file preparation.
- Look for smarter, more efficient ways to work, helping us create more, test more and continuously raise the quality of our creative output.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
