Job Title: Digital Designer
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid)
Job type: Permanent
Working Hours: Mon- Fri 37.5 hours per week.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Summary of Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and ambitious Digital Designer to develop their career within a fast-paced B2B marketing and creative environment.
Working across BLOC and client projects, you’ll create engaging, high-quality digital experiences and marketing assets that bring campaigns and brands to life. You’ll work across a wide variety of digital channels, from website design to email campaigns, social media, animations, video, and digital advertising.
You’ll work closely with the marketing and creative teams and our clients, taking projects from initial concept through to final delivery. This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to work across different brands and digital platforms while continually developing your design, UX/UI, and digital skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality, engaging digital designs that support B2B marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Manage design projects from brief through to final delivery, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Design digital assets including websites, landing pages, email campaigns, social media graphics, web banners, digital advertising, presentations, case studies, animations, and video content.
- Develop website designs, wireframes, page layouts, and user interfaces with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and user experience.
- Support client website and eCommerce design projects.
- Develop creative concepts, layouts, typography, and visual styles in line with brand guidelines.
- Work across multiple client brands, adapting creative approaches and design styles to suit different audiences, sectors, and objectives.
- Work collaboratively with marketing, digital, and creative teams on integrated campaigns.
- Work directly with key clients, understanding their requirements and providing creative ideas and design recommendations.
- Support BLOC’s branding, communications, and design requirements.
- Stay up to date with emerging digital design trends, technologies, and best practices and bring new ideas to the team.
- Manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively, keeping colleagues and clients updated on progress.
- Take responsibility for maintaining high standards of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all work.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by management.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Experience working in a similar Digital Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role, or relevant design qualification.
- Experience creating digital design assets for marketing campaigns, ideally within a B2B environment.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience using Figma or similar UI/UX and prototyping tools.
- Knowledge of website and eCommerce design, including WordPress.
- Understanding of UX/UI, responsive design, and digital accessibility.
- Experience with motion graphics, animation, or video content using Premiere Pro or CapCut would be advantageous.
- Experience using project management or workflow management tools would be advantageous.
- A strong understanding of digital design trends, technologies, and marketing channels.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong eye for design, typography, layout, and visual consistency.
- A creative mindset with the ability to develop ideas and translate briefs into engaging visual concepts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a bright, friendly, and positive attitude.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize workload.
- Proactive, adaptable, and keen to learn and develop new digital skills.
