Exciting Opportunity in Digital Enablement Primary Care Team
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Digital Enablement Primary Care Team to support the roll out of GP IT Reprovisioning work to our GP Practices within NHS Fife. We are looking for an enthusiastic, engaging individual who has a great ability to convey information in a supportive manner and a keen interest in supporting others to learn.
About the Role
The post is a 18 month contract (secondments will be considered)
The role of Digital Enablement Trainer will focus on delivering training and supporting GP Practice staff through the changes ahead with GP IT digital systems. The post holder will play an important part in ensuring staff can confidently use systems to carry out their role and improve services for patients.
NHS Fife is ambitious in developing its strategies and frameworks to support organisational change and modernise service delivery through digital for the benefit of staff, patients, carers and the public. This post will act as an exemplary advocate of this agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training and support to GP Practice staff through the changes ahead with GP IT digital systems.
- Ensure staff can confidently use systems to carry out their role and improve services for patients.
- Act as an exemplary advocate of NHS Fife’s agenda to modernise service delivery through digital.
Requirements
- Ability to travel throughout Fife and across Scotland as required.
- Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of training delivery.

Fixed Term/Secondment Opportunity
Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager. The secondment policy can be found here. If you do not have approval for a secondment from your current line manager, you will not be able to progress your application for a fixed term post. External applicants, with continuous NHS Service, must also have in place a secondment agreement, from their existing board to apply for this post.
