What is the purpose of the Digital Engagement Manager?

The Digital Engagement Manager plays a key role in delivering the digital elements of our public engagement strategy. Reporting to the Associate Head of Digital Engagement, the role contributes to long-term income growth by engaging public audiences through integrated, audience-led digital marketing approaches.

This role plays a key part in supporting the NSPCC's mission. You'll contribute by:

  • Developing and delivering digital campaigns that drive sustainable income growth across paid marketing channels and email
  • Supporting integrated, multi-channel marketing and fundraising campaigns aligned to strategic priorities
  • Working collaboratively within campaign delivery squads to provide digital expertise and ensure successful execution

What will I be doing as a Digital Engagement Manager?

As Digital Engagement Manager, You Will

  • Work within high-performing campaign delivery squads to help deliver digital engagement plans and activities
  • Plan, activate, optimise, and report on digital campaigns within key platforms to inspire and motivate supporters
  • Manage paid digital marketing budgets, targets, and key objectives
  • Ensure digital performance is tracked, analysed, and optimised
  • Collaborate across teams to support integrated marketing and fundraising campaigns across paid digital marketing channels and email
  • Champion a test-and-learn culture and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the development of digital content pipelines and conversion rate optimisation

What skills do I need to be a Digital Engagement Manager?

You'll be a strategic digital marketer with a track record of delivering successful campaigns

  • Confident working with data, managing budgets, and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment
  • You'll bring creativity, innovation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Experienced in digital marketing and fundraising in a large-scale organisation
  • Strong knowledge of digital channels and platforms, ideally with in-platform experience of Google, Meta, and/or email
  • Ability to analyse complex data and use analytics and reporting systems effectively
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
