YOUR ROLE

You will work on high profile, impactful projects which help our clients implement digital technologies and new ways of working to transform the way in which they build, manage and maintain their capital asset portfolios. Our clients are some of the largest asset intensive organizations in the Transportation, Public and Energy and Utilities Sector, who build, own and operate vast estates.

Our consultants bring Capital Project and Asset Intensive Industry experience, strong business improvement skillsets and a clear perspective on how digitalisation of core Capital Project delivery and Asset Management processes can reduce the total cost of ownership, drive operational efficiency, deliver projects more effectively, improve asset availability and deliver on stakeholder commitments.

We work collaboratively with clients at all levels of organisations and across all stages of the asset lifecycle to help them define the key foundations and capabilities to set up their capital projects and asset operations for success. Starting with the end objectives in mind, we blend deep industry insight with the use of leading technologies and techniques to help our clients introduce more integrated ways of working. We move from ‘idea to action’ quickly and build confidence along the digital journey to help our clients successfully deliver, manage and operate critical infrastructure.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Defining client strategy, delivery roadmaps and investment cases. You will help develop business cases for the deployment of technology solutions and support clients in making value-based scoping decisions.
  • Helping our clients design and develop solutions which digitise and optimise processes across the value chain, from engineering design, construction on site through to the successful commissioning and handover into operations.
  • Leading the creation and evolution of Capital and Asset Management capabilities by developing roadmaps focused on streamlining operations, optimising processes and maintaining best practice asset and information management.
  • Taking ownership for the delivery of workstreams within transformation programmes. Working on Project Management Activities including tracking of project budget, deliverables and resources, managing vendor relationships, mitigating project risks and managing project change requests.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with current and new clients. Working with the senior leaders in identification and pursuit of new business.

YOUR PROFILE

The field and opportunity in this space is vast and as such there are multiple skills and capabilities we are keen on building around. If you have experience in a number of the below points, then we will be very interested to meet you.

  • Consulting mindset: experience on working on transformation programmes, ability to work at pace and at a high quality. Display drive to complete projects, have impact and leave clients with lasting outcomes. Ability to identify and shape new opportunities to grow the business.
  • Experience with evaluation, use cases, deployment and strategy around AEC technology and processes such as Digital Twins, Operational Technology, AI, Project Controls, GIS, BIM, Common Data Environments, Information Management and Asset Management.
  • Experience with delivering advisory, consulting services into clients in the transportation, energy and utility and public sector spaces.
  • Client facing and stakeholder management – ability to manage stakeholders effectively, align multiple teams, groups and organizations to a common goal.

We are also interested in the following skills and attributes:

  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background. Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • Experience of proposition building and delivery.
  • Working knowledge of ISO19650 and ISO55000.
  • Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network.
  • Excellent written and spoken English with the ability of simplifying complex problems and solutions.
