Job Title: Digital Engineering Product Manager - Through Life Support
Type of work: Contract
Duration: 6 months (likely to extend)
Rate: £550-630 a day Inside IR35
Clearance: Current active UK SC is required
Working Arrangement: 1-2 days a week onsite in Reading

We're recruiting for an experienced Digital Engineering Product Manager to lead the development of Through Life Support capability within a major UK engineering programme.
This is an opportunity to shape the future of Digital Engineering by delivering the digital tools, data and processes that enable engineering teams to maintain, support and evolve highly complex products long after they've entered service.
Working at the intersection of engineering, technology and product delivery, you'll own a critical capability that underpins operational readiness, product sustainment and engineering excellence.
Whether you're already leading Digital Engineering capability or have a background in Integrated Product Support, Engineering Systems or Product Management, this role offers the opportunity to influence one of the UK's most exciting engineering programmes.

The Role
As Digital Engineering Product Manager, you'll own the strategy, roadmap and continuous development of the Through Life Support capability.
Working across engineering, manufacturing, support and technology teams, you'll translate operational and engineering requirements into digital capabilities that improve product support across the entire engineering lifecycle.
You'll lead stakeholder engagement, prioritise capability development, manage product backlogs and work with suppliers and technology partners to deliver integrated Digital Engineering solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning the Through Life Support product roadmap
- Capturing engineering and business requirements
- Delivering Digital Engineering capabilities supporting product sustainment
- Managing product backlogs and capability priorities
- Supporting Digital Thread and engineering data integration
- Working with Product Owners, architects and engineering teams
- Driving business change and user adoption
- Supporting supplier and technology partner relationships
- Ensuring governance, quality and engineering standards are maintained
- Balancing immediate delivery priorities with long-term Digital Engineering strategy

The Person
We're looking for someone who understands how engineering organisations support complex products throughout their operational lifecycle.
You might currently be working as a Through Life Support Manager, Integrated Product Support Manager, Engineering Systems Manager or Digital Engineering Product Manager. Equally, you could be an experienced Supportability Engineer or Systems Engineer looking to move into a broader product leadership role.
You'll enjoy working across engineering and technology teams, influencing stakeholders and delivering digital capabilities that create lasting business value.
You'll ideally have experience of:
- Through Life Support (TLS)
- Integrated Product Support (IPS)
- Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
- Digital Engineering
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Engineering Systems
- Product Management or Product Ownership
- Engineering transformation
- Stakeholder management
- Regulated engineering environments
Experience with Siemens Teamcenter, Digital Thread or engineering data management platforms would be highly advantageous but isn't essential.
Active UK Security Clearance is essential.
