About the role

The Digital Executive supports the delivery of digital activity across the firm’s digital channels, including the website, email programmes and social media. Reporting to a Digital Manager, the role focuses on high-quality execution, learning and developing digital marketing skills within a supportive team environment.

The Executive role provides broad exposure to digital marketing, with opportunities to build experience across multiple channels and develop specialisms over time. It is well suited to someone developing their digital career and gaining confidence in day-to-day delivery.

This role can be located in either Bristol, London, Nottingham or Manchester on a hybrid basis.

Key responsibilities

Digital delivery and support

  • Deliver day-to-day digital activity across website, email and social channels.
  • Complete allocated tasks accurately and on time, following guidance and established processes.
  • Support campaign delivery by assisting with builds, publishing, proofs and checks and updates.
  • Follow governance, brand and accessibility standards across all outputs.

  • Deliver CMS web content updates, page builds and publishing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Carry out content checks, updates and routine maintenance within the CMS.
  • Support tagging, link management and basic SEO tasks as directed.

Email marketing support

  • Work on email builds, scheduling and deployment using approved templates.
  • Assist with list preparation, testing and quality checking.
  • Follow agreed processes to ensure compliance with legal and data requirements.

Social media support

  • Support with scheduling and publishing of social posts.
  • Create social media visuals using provided templates and tools (e.g. Canva), following brand guidelines and templates.
  • Help maintain content calendars and ensure posts are formatted correctly.
  • Monitor activity and flag risks or issues to senior colleagues.

Collaboration and learning

  • Work closely with Digital Managers, Senior Executives and peers to deliver work effectively.
  • Engage positively with stakeholders and respond well to feedback.
  • Build understanding of how digital marketing supports wider campaigns and business priorities.

Performance and development

  • Support basic reporting and performance monitoring activity.
  • Actively develop digital skills and knowledge through training and on-the-job learning.
  • Demonstrate growing confidence, independence and accountability over time.

Your skills and qualifications

  • Related experience working with either email marketing, website CMS or social media.
  • Willingness to work across multiple digital channels and learn new tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a well-organised approach to work.
  • Clear written communication skills.
  • Can-do and helpful attitude.
  • Collaborative, proactive and keen to develop a career in digital.
  • Confident communicating with third party agencies.
  • Ideally a minimum of one to two years’ experience within digital marketing.
