Role Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Digital Marketing Executive to strengthen iQ Student Accommodation's digital performance SEO, Social Search, and emerging AI/LLM opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining data, content, and technical best practice to drive measurable impact across organic channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Search Optimisation (SEO, Social Search & AEO/LLM)
- Partner closely with our SEO agency to support ongoing deliverables, including technical SEO recommendations, content optimisation projects, and performance reporting.
- Support the Digital Product team by helping prioritise SEO-related technical tickets and ensuring best-practice on-page optimisation.
- Contribute to content strategy by delivering keyword-led insights, user intent analysis, and SEO-informed content briefs.
- Monitor and analyse SEO performance metrics (e.g., keyword positions, impressions, organic sessions, CTR) using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, and third-party SEO tools.
- Identify technical SEO issues, raise them with developers or external partners, and track resolution through to completion.
- Support the SEO agency in developing and evolving our AI-driven / LLM-optimised strategy.
- Stay up to date with changes in search behaviour, including GenAI search surfaces and social search trends (TikTok & Meta).
- Support our social agency in the implementation of our Social Search strategy.

Data Management and Reporting
- Produce clear, insightful weekly and monthly performance reports across organic channels, including KPIs, trends, commentary, and optimisation opportunities.
- Use a data-driven approach to recommend improvements and support ongoing channel testing.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and wider digital marketing projects.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of our CRM email automations.
Role Scope:
This is a national role, based in the London Bridge office. Occasional travel to sites around the UK may be required.

Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong interest in SEO, search behaviour, and AI-driven search technologies
- Confident analysing data and extracting actionable insight
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Clear communicator, comfortable collaborating with agencies and internal teams
- Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog)
- Understanding of content optimisation, keyword research, and on-page best practice
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic HTML
- Awareness of AEO/LLM trends and AI search developments
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and agency partners.
