About the opportunity
Via is partnering with a leading international events business looking for a Digital Experience Executive to help manage, improve and develop its portfolio of event websites.
This is a hands-on digital marketing and website role combining content management, SEO, website analytics, user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
You'll support the day-to-day running of multiple websites, help launch new event sites and work on improvements that increase traffic, engagement and conversions.
You'll join a collaborative digital team at a time when the business is investing significantly in its digital platforms and customer experience.
This could be a great next step for someone with experience in digital marketing, website management, content management or SEO who wants to develop broader expertise in website performance and optimisation.
What you'll be doing
- Support the management and ongoing improvement of multiple event websites
- Update website content, landing pages and digital assets using content management systems (CMS)
- Help deliver new website launches, ensuring pages are accurate, functional and ready on time
- Support digital strategies focused on increasing organic traffic, engagement and conversions
- Work with digital marketing teams to improve website performance
- Assist with SEO improvements and website content optimisation
- Support user experience (UX) and user journey improvements
- Research opportunities to make websites easier to navigate and use
- Create wireframes and help develop new page layouts and website elements
- Support A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation initiatives
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools
- Produce reports on traffic, user behaviour, engagement and conversions
- Use data to recommend improvements to website content and functionality
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners on website projects
- Help coordinate multiple website updates and digital initiatives
- Support mobile apps and other digital platforms where required
- Explore how AI and emerging search technologies can improve website performance

What we're looking for
- Experience in digital marketing, website management, digital content or a similar role
- Hands-on experience using a CMS to create, update or manage website pages
- Experience building or editing landing pages
- Good understanding of digital marketing and how websites support wider campaigns
- An interest in SEO, website performance and organic traffic growth
- Ability to interpret website analytics and identify opportunities for improvement
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or similar tools
- Understanding of user experience (UX) and website conversion principles
- Strong attention to detail when updating content and managing websites
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Confidence working with different teams and stakeholders
- Creative approach to improving digital experiences
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
We're open to candidates from digital marketing, website administration, content management, SEO, digital communications or eCommerce backgrounds.
You don't need to be an expert in every area of digital experience. Practical CMS experience, a good understanding of website performance and a genuine interest in improving user journeys are particularly important.
