Join us in our mission to help us make digital services easier, simpler and better for our customers
At Yorkshire Housing, we're all about making it possible for people to have a place they're proud to call home.
We're looking for a Digital Experience Lead to help shape and improve the digital services our customers use every day. From our Customer Portal to our Knowledge Platform and customer-facing systems, you'll make sure our digital channels work brilliantly, solve real customer problems and deliver a great experience.
This isn't a role where you'll simply talk about improvements. You'll lead them.
Working as part of a small, ambitious team, you'll take ownership of digital products, coordinate delivery, use customer insight and performance data to identify opportunities, and make sure every change delivers a better experience for our customers.
What you'll be doing
No two days will look the same, but you can expect to:
- Own the day-to-day management and development of our Customer Portal
- Lead improvements to customer-facing digital journeys, making them easier, clearer and more effective
- Work closely with technical teams to turn customer and business requirements into working solutions
- Manage digital releases, testing and continuous improvements
- Help redesign customer-facing processes, forms and case management journeys
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of our Knowledge Platform
- Use data, reporting and customer feedback to identify what's working and where we need to improve
- Create customer communications and adoption campaigns that encourage self-service and digital engagement
- Support colleagues to confidently guide customers through our digital channels

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
