Digital Forensics Research and Development Engineer
Take ownership of cutting edge digital forensics research within cybersecurity, developing novel extraction and analysis methods for complex security architectures. This role offers the scope to advance your technical expertise while shaping next generation defensive capability.

Essential requirements
- Sole British nationality
- Software development experience in C, C++ or Python
- Background in digital forensics or security research
- Some exposure to a research and development environment

What you will work on
- Research and develop software tools to analyse digital evidence
- Investigate mobile network protocols, data structures and hardware environments
- Solve complex technical challenges and implement automated eDiscovery solutions
Skills and experience
- Software development capability in Python alongside C or C++
- Mobile network protocols or mobile security research experience
- Knowledge of eDiscovery frameworks or forensic analysis tools is a big plus
- Low level security architectures and system internals experience

Location and setup
Based onsite in Weston-super-Mare with access to dedicated technical lab facilities.
