Digital Fundraising and Campaign Lead

Mission Aviation Fellowship is seeking a talented Digital Fundraising and Campaign Lead to drive digital fundraising and donor acquisition activity, delivering campaigns that increase engagement, support, and income.

Location: Remote-based role with attendance required once a month at the MAF office located in Folkestone

Rewards: Salary of £45,047, plus a generous pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and other great benefits and professional growth opportunities

Contract: Full-time, 12 month fixed-term maternity cover

The Role

As a Digital Fundraising and Campaign Lead, you will lead a small team in the delivery of our annual digital campaign roadmap, overseeing integrated campaigns from concept through to delivery.

Specifically, you will ensure we produce campaigns that are audience-focused, data-driven, and optimised for donor acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.

You will provide strategic oversight of paid media, budgets, and campaign performance, using donor insights and analytics to inform segmentation and supporter journeys while championing innovation and new approaches to digital fundraising.

Additionally, you will:

  • Advise senior leadership on digital fundraising trends and performance
  • Build relationships with external partners, agencies, and suppliers
  • Oversee the development and delivery of events at festivals
  • Identify new opportunities to maximise acquisition and income from events
  • Support forecasting, planning, and resource allocation

  • At least five years’ proven experience in digital fundraising and marketing within a charity or mission-driven organisation
  • At least two years’ management experience leading digital fundraising or marketing teams
  • Experience of writing, reviewing, and editing copy for a variety of audiences and uses
  • Demonstrable success in developing and delivering multichannel digital campaigns with measurable impact
  • Demonstrable expertise in paid media strategy and optimisation, including Google Ads, Meta, and programmatic advertising
  • Experience using analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and CRM platforms
  • Experience in project management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • A degree or equivalent standard of education
